Responsibilities
- Safety: Ensuring the safety of children at all times
- Hygiene: Teaching children good hygiene habits and changing diapers
- Activities: Planning and organizing activities for children, such as arts and crafts, games, and field trips
- Learning: Instructing children in health and personal habits, and helping with homework
- Communication: Communicating with parents or guardians about children's daily activities, behaviors, and concerns
- Records: Keeping records of children's progress, routines, and interests
- Discipline: Implementing disciplinary measures to maintain control in the classroom and facility
- Housekeeping: Cleaning and sanitizing toys, furniture, and play equipment
- Administrative tasks: Taking attendance, editing paperwork, and making phone calls
