Looking to hire immediately to onboard and start by June 5th 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Encourage social, emotional, and educational development through play.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and materials.
- Collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall daycare experience.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent AND 12 Early Childhood Education Units
- Degree in education or related field preferred.
- 1 years' experience working with school-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification REQUIRED or willingness to obtain.
- Mandated Reporter Training Certificate REQUIRED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
- Background check clearance REQUIRED.
- Availability to work flexible hours during the summer months.
