As a Community Engagement Representative, you will be responsible for the following:
Planning and budgeting for TFCU’s community and member events by maximizing the exposure of the TFCU brand and promoting our services to our members and generate member and community awareness of the TFCU brand.
Overseeing the member segment and member loyalty programs and the mobile Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
Negotiating contracts and prices for event sponsorships and use of select facilities to determine cost associated with each member and community event.
Salary Range:
This is an exempt position. The salary range starts at $74,891.55429; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
This role requires a highly flexible schedule, including weekends, late nights, and potential holiday shifts (e.g., 4th of July). This is not a traditional 9-5 position; Overnight stays for events are a standard part of the role, and you must be available to adjust your schedule on short notice to meet the demands of the position. Candidates must demonstrate reliability and adaptability to succeed in a dynamic environment.
Education/Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in a field related to business or marketing, and two combined years of experience related to marketing, promotions, customer loyalty programs and/or coordinating community events are required.
Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements. Financial institution experience is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Community Engagement Representative, you must possess these qualifications:
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of TFCU policies and procedures, including teller and ATM balancing procedures.
Knowledge of product lines, corporate goals, and industry conditions.
Ability to use the Internet as a research and business development tool.
Breach or other problems on the mobile ATM unit.
Ability to recognize physical hazards and take action to rectify them.
Ability to interact with all levels of management, employees, and members.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to drive, park, and set up a 38-foot mobile ATM unit and trailer.
