Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician, specifically with diesel pump systems or heavy equipment.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
  • Capability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from a recognized diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician program.
  • Experience with mobile service operations and customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software related to diesel engines and pumps.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to heavy equipment and mobile service work.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites across the United States to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered pump systems.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all CDL regulations to transport tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of diesel pumps, engines, and related components to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and system calibrations to extend equipment lifespan.
  • Document all service activities, parts used, and repair outcomes accurately in company systems and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide technical support to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the mobile service vehicle and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.

Salary : $51,654 - $76,230
