Job Title:Accounts Receivable AnalystLocation:Wallingford, CTSummaryQualified candidates will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable process, beginning with revenue recognition and completing with cash collection. This position will also support the Accounts Payable department through timely entry of invoices and processing of paymentEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReconcile customer accounts and ensure timely submission of customer invoicesMonitor and reconcile over-aged accounts and consistently follow up with collection correspondenceDevelop partnership with Sales team to support collection activitiesMaintain electronic files of all customers, review all customer credit applications, and update existing customer credit linesResearch and resolve payment discrepancies/deductionsReconcile accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger monthlyAR projects and process improvement as assignedQualifications/RequirementsBA/BS in related fieldProficiency using ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Office products (strong Excel required), strong computer skillsStrong understanding of Accounting conceptsStrong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritizeStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam playerAbility to thrive in a high-stress fast-paced environmentWillingness to take initiative and the ability to operate independently
