What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender and Event Support position at Timekeeper Distillery?
At Timekeeper Distillery, we are looking for a candidate with an exceptional attitude, desire to work in a team setting and reliable attributes. A sample of the details of the position and preferences are outlined below.
DUTIES:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including superior food safety standards
- Professionally execute events ranging from corporate events, trivia, weddings to baby showers, and more.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders with food service
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a mixologist or bartender in a banquet, hospitality, or catering setting is preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Familiarity with food service protocols in the food industry
- Valid Bartender License
