What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Event Support position at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts?
Love music, large outdoor events, and want to make a bit of cash? We are looking for seasonal event staff for Summer 2026!
Most of the work will be for the THELMA Thursday concert series, but there will also be work available for weddings, corporate gatherings, and art exhibits. There is so much happening at THELMA! So, we need part-time, very capable, honest and reliable events support people who bring a positive attitude.
Duties include event set-up/tear-down and miscellaneous facility duties. This may include setting up tents and stages, helping restock our bars before and during events, cleaning before, during, and after events, setting up chairs or tables, and more.
We are looking for people who can work Thursday days and evenings and have the flexibility to work weekend events periodically.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The position is primarily based on-site with approximately 8-16 hours a week, depending on the event schedule. A large portion of the work will occur outdoors in the summer season heat. The work is physical in nature and occurs in locations where the noise level is louder (approximately between 90 and 120 decibels).
