Job Summary: The Team Lead will be responsible for training, leading, and motivating a team of salespeople. This role requires a hands-on approach to guide sales personnel from initial customer interactions through to deal closure. The Team Lead will collaborate closely with sales staff to ensure seamless communication and compliance throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to salespeople, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Leadership: Inspire and motivate the sales team to achieve targets, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Sales Process Management: Assist salespeople from the meet and greet stage through presenting numbers and closing deals, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales desk and finance assistants to gather necessary paperwork post-deal agreement for vehicle delivery.
- F&I Products Presentation: Present Finance and Insurance (F&I) products to customers, ensuring clarity and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Goal Setting & Follow-Up: Help salespeople set personal and team goals, providing regular follow-up and feedback to drive performance improvement.
- Compliance & Standards: Uphold compliance standards within the sales process and ensure adherence to company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in automotive sales with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
