Assistant Front Office Manager - The Sebastian Vail

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office leadership team in overseeing guest services, front desk operations, and team performance. This position plays an important part in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service standards, and fostering a positive and professional environment for both guests and team members.

• Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk and guest services operations.
• Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring front office team members.
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
• Monitor check-in, check-out, room assignments, and other front desk processes to support operational efficiency.
• Help maintain accurate records, reports, and communication related to front office activities.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments to support seamless guest experiences.
• Promote adherence to property standards, service expectations, and operational procedures.
• Assist with handling guest feedback, service recovery, and special requests in a timely manner.
• Support team morale by modeling strong leadership, clear communication, and a guest-first mindset.
• Participate in daily briefings, staff meetings, and ongoing operational improvement efforts.

• Previous experience in front office, guest services, or hotel operations required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and standard office software preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
