Laundry Attendant (3 Days | Block Schedule)

Timberlake Hotel is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This position is seasonal, running June through October, with the possibility of continued employment beyond the season depending on hotel occupancy and business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sorts, washes, dries, and folds laundry according to hotel standards.
• Operates laundry equipment including industrial washers and dryers.
• Inspects linens and towels for stains or damage and reports any issues to the head housekeeper.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
• Follows proper procedures for handling and storing linens.
• Assists with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
• Assists the housekeeping team with light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming hallways, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash receptacles, and supporting room turnovers during busy periods.
• Delivers fresh linens and amenities to guest rooms as needed.
• Refills linen carts at the end of each shift.
• Adheres to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry or cleaning operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting, is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate!
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
• Flexible schedule required, including some weekends.

Schedule

This position offers two flexible track options to fit your life. Candidates may work Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — your preference. Each shift runs either 9:00am–3:00pm or 3:00pm–9:00pm, based on your availability. Final scheduling is confirmed during the hiring process. For the right candidate, additional hours may be available through cross-training or picking up daytime shifts — a great opportunity if you're looking to grow with us!

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Employee must frequently reach above head and below waist, bend, stoop, and squat. While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, and use their wrists and hands. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
