Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including resident rooms, offices, and all common areas of the building at all times. Dwelling units of the residents will be cleaned weekly and the services provided will depend on the needs of each resident. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and maintaining carpets and hard floors.
- Ensure that all housekeeping supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Report any shortages, maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Uphold and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Provide excellent hospitality by responding to resident requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial services or housekeeping is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
- Subject to a background check.
