In this position, your main responsibility is sourcing and acquiring pre-owned vehicles from private sellers. You’ll use platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Kelly Blue Book, Craigslist, and CarGurus to find vehicles, contact owners, and negotiate purchases. You’ll also travel to pick up vehicles—sometimes at a distance—and, with experience, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct vehicle appraisals on behalf of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search for and identify potential vehicles online
- Communicate with private sellers to negotiate deals
- Inspect and pick up purchased vehicles
- Support the dealership’s inventory growth
- Advance into vehicle appraisal duties with experience
Ideal Candidate:
- No previous experience required
- Self-driven and goal-oriented
- Confident communicator—both online and in person
- Professional, organized, and dependable
- Passionate about vehicles and eager to learn
- Comfortable working independently and on the move
- Willing to work Saturdays and maintain a clean driving record
