Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, providing friendly service and upselling where appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas to meet health regulations.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting the culinary team as needed.
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation standards, proper food handling procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, including cashiering, serving, and upselling techniques.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store setting is a plus.
- Food handling certification or related food safety training is advantageous but not mandatory.
