Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dedham, MA for a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will support department efforts to recruit new staff, manage training and information resources, and collaborate on general department needs. This position reports to the Vice President for Human Resources.
Essential Job Functions:
Learn about each department's hiring and scheduling needs, and be familiar with all agency vacancies.
Maintain a database of all job candidates and training requirements in HR database Great Plains.
Prepare new employee booklets, awards, printed materials and correspondence.
Create flyers of job opportunities for internal and external recruitment efforts.
Handle online job postings directed at colleges and universities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, plus two years of experience in Human Services or related field. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
Hours and Compensation:
This position is onsite in Dedham, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9am-5pm.
Pay is $24 per hour.
