Description
TILL provides essential support to adults with developmental disabilities, learning differences, acquired brain injury, and other specialized needs through a wide range of housing options, from structured, staffed, small group living to individualized support options. Cravings Cafe & Gift Shop is seeking a full-time Cook/Culinary Instructor to join our team. We are a vocational training program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), providing hands-on culinary training while preparing approximately 400 school lunches daily for local charter and private schools. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both cooking and mentoring others.
Schedule
Full-time! Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. $22/hr.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee production of approximately 400 school meals daily
- Teach adults with IDD culinary, food preparation, and kitchen safety skills
- Supervise daily kitchen operations
- Maintain food inventory and storage
- Place food and supply orders
- Develop menus and perform food cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Work collaboratively with a small, mission-driven team
- Candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen or food service operation
- Experience with inventory management and food ordering
- Experience with menu planning and food cost analysis
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and ability to teach and encourage others
- ServSafe certification preferred
