About the Team
The Product Strategy and Operations Manager role is part of a team that provides support to a Customer Support platform that that is used by TikTok's various businesses. Our team is at the heart of TikTok's user support experience, dedicated to delivering industry-leading service. Our mission is to ensure that every user receives efficient and accurate solutions whenever they encounter issues. To achieve this, we focus on three key objectives:
- Easy Access to Support – Streamlining users help channels to make it faster and more intuitive for users to find the support they need, minimizing wait times and enhancing satisfaction.
- Precise Ticket Routing – Leveraging intelligent categorization and routing systems to ensure user inquiries reach the right support teams, improving resolution efficiency.
- Empowering Internal Teams – Building robust platforms and tools to equip our support teams with smart, efficient resources, enabling them to deliver professional and user-centric service.
Responsibilities
- Metric Health & Governance: Design, monitor, and own the dashboards for core product and customer service operational metrics (e.g., CSAT, response time, resolution rate, and feature health).
- Fluctuation & Root Cause Analysis: Proactively detect and investigate anomalies or fluctuations in core metrics. Conduct rigorous, end-to-end deep dives into specific problem statements to pinpoint systemic root causes.
- High-Impact Reporting: Distill complex analytical findings into structured, visually compelling, and executive-ready reports that articulate the "so what?" behind the data to leadership and stakeholders.
- Operational Solutioning: Partner directly with the Operations team and Product team to co-create, test, and implement operational solutions based on your data insights.
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary analytical bridge between Customer Service operation and Product teams, translating frontline business pain points into data-backed product improvement or operation improvement requirements.
- Product Sense & Operation Strategy: Apply a strong product sense to evaluate how platform adjustments will impact agent workflows, user experience, and overall service efficiency.
- End-to-End Delivery: Champion cross-functional optimization projects from inception to deployment, ensuring clear requirement transmission and alignment across business and technical squads.
- Resource Coordination: Navigate ambiguities, align disparate stakeholders, and coordinate multi-team resources to deliver strategic projects on schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with more than five years as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, or a highly analytical Product Management role. (experience supporting Customer Service or Product Operations is a plus).
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Mastery: A proven track record of diving deep into complex product/operational ecosystems, diagnosing problems, and using data to build a narrative.
- Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to draft high-quality reports, present data-driven strategies to leadership, and influence without authority.
- Product Sense: A natural intuition for product design, workflow optimization, and user experience. Experience supporting Customer Service or Support Operations infrastructure is a strong plus.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and positive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88000 - $202667 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
