Team Introduction:
The Emerging Product Engineering Team is the incubator for TikTok USDS JV's newest ventures in the US market. We are responsible for the end-to-end success of a diverse portfolio of non-TikTok applications, including Trae, Gauth, and LimeShorts, as well as a growing pipeline of new products. We operate with a strong “0→1” mindset, prioritizing agility, rapid iteration, and creative problem-solving to build and scale products.
Now we are looking for an Operations Manager who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is passionate about building new businesses from the ground up. In this role, you will develop the operational frameworks and service infrastructure that enable our emerging products to successfully launch, localize, and scale in the U.S. Market.
Responsibility:
- Strategy & Launch Readiness: Lead the North America service strategy and operational readiness for new product launches, establishing localized technical frameworks and standardized playbooks.
- Support Channel Management: Oversee the performance and quality of multi-channel support services, including hotline operations and AI-driven self-service tools on the app and website.
- Voice of the Customer (VoC): Serve as the primary advocate for NA consumers by analyzing feedback and driving product/quality improvements through direct collaboration with R&D and Product teams.
- Hardware & Supply Chain Ops: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of physical hardware services, including vendor management for repair centers, returns, exchanges, and spare parts logistics.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor service KPIs and IT infrastructure to identify consumer pain points, utilizing data insights to implement proactive operational solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Vendor Management: Direct experience in negotiating with, onboarding, and managing third-party service providers and strategic partners.
- Execution & Resilience: Demonstrated ability to work proactively with high stress resistance and a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge gaps between R&D, Quality, and Product departments to drive results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: Experience in the 3C consumer electronics sector, with a proven track record in service leadership, call center management, or user experience operations.
- Service Infrastructure: Experience building localized service supplier networks and offline service centers from the ground up.
- Technical Acumen: Strong technical foundation in 3C electronic products (experience with VR/AR or emerging hardware is a significant plus).
- Process Design: Experience in establishing standardized playbooks and SOPs for consistent service execution across international regions.
- Digital Transformation: Familiarity with scaling intelligent self-service tools (AI support, App-based services) and data-driven service IT operations.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110230 - $248400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
