Position Summary:
NGLi is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administration / Financial Quality Control Specialist to support our GSA Export contract. Under general supervision the Administration / Financial Quality Control Specialist plays a critical role in supporting logistics operations by ensuring accurate data reporting, monitoring carrier transactions, resolving discrepancies, and enhancing visibility of shipment status. This position interfaces with internal teams, government stakeholders, and third-party carriers to ensure financial and shipment integrity across the entire supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and carrier tracking data to identify delays, mis-shipments, or aged freight.
- Monitor internal dashboards and group communications to vet and resolve “frustrated freight” (shipments stalled or delayed in transit).
- Research and correct booking discrepancies using tracking systems, carrier communications, and customer data.
- Review Syncada financial transactions to verify shipping charges, match invoices, and close out reconciled items.
- Collaborate with warehouse and WMS administrators to correct data input discrepancies that contribute to shipment delays or reporting inaccuracies.
- Generate and present operational reports to supervisors and management, highlighting volume trends, date/time deficiencies, and compliance gaps.
- Maintain ongoing communications with government contacts regarding freight movements, delays, and reporting requirements.
- Support NCSC (National Customer Service Center) communications and reporting tasks.
- Lead mitigation efforts with carriers and internal teams to resolve package issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with shipment and inventory reporting requirements, particularly within 0–5 day windows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation administration, financial reconciliation, or related field.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, tracking software, and report generation (Excel, WMS, carrier systems, Syncada preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data and operational discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Experience with government freight or transportation contracts is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with KPIs and logistics performance dashboards.
- Understanding of Syncada or similar financial reconciliation platforms.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record may be required.
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to pass GSA security clearance requirements
- Must be able obtain a GSA PIV card upon employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting, with occasional standing, walking, and reaching.
- Manual dexterity for handling files and using office equipment.
- Visual acuity for reading documentation and screen-based work.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
