What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant/ Dog Daycare position at Tiki Tails Dog Resort?
This position is meant for someone with experience working in all aspects of the pet industry, and looking for diversity in their position within a quickly growing company.
This position is great for former receptionists, grooming assistants or veterinary technicians.
Required/Preferred:
Looking for someone looking in all aspects of our company:
- Daycare setting, Boarding department, grooming assistance
Your own vehicle for transportation
Computer skills and working with software systems
Preferred Prior Experience in:
Minimum of 1-2 years experience with working at a Veterinary clinic, Groomer or Pet Resort
Experience with nail trimming
Reception/Customer Service
Duties:
Daycare setting
-Interacting with groups of dogs, and intervening in unwanted energy/behaviors
-Evaluating dogs behavior to join our daycare
-Cleaning up after the dogs in relief areas
Boarding Setting
-Proper Kennel cleaning skills
-Food preparation and following feeding instructions completely
-Dishes
-Keeping dogs areas tidy
Grooming Setting:
-Nail trimming/dremel
-Bathing
Compensation/Benefits:
Compensation is based on experience level and capabilities to fulfill the job requirements. Really looking for a strong team member here that is good at multitasking. Wages will be discussed in interview process.

Shifts:
-Part time
-Morning, Afternoon and some weekend shifts are required.
