Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to dogs and other animals in the kennel and daycare areas, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist with pet grooming, feeding, medication administration, and daily health checks to promote well-being
- Handle animals using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills to ensure safety for pets and staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment through thorough cleaning and disinfecting routines
- Engage pets in supervised playtime, socialization activities, and outdoor walks to promote mental stimulation and physical exercise
- Support team lifting efforts when moving heavy supplies or equipment safely within the facility
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ behavior, needs, or special instructions while providing excellent customer service
Experience
- Kennel experience or outdoor work experience with animals is not necessary we are willing to train the right person.
