As a Brazilian multinational and leader in civil construction products, we create systems that elevate quality of life—spanning plumbing, electrical, drainage, bathroom accessories, infrastructure, industrial, irrigation, painting tools, sanitary faucets, and treatment solutions for water and effluents.Your ImpactKeep molds production-ready through scheduled maintenance, inspection, lubrication, and cleaning.Troubleshoot issues to determine whether root causes are process-, mold-, or machine-related; repair wear/damage.Modify tools and fabricate components (cores, cavities, and other precision parts) using manual machines.Collaborate with process/setup technicians to validate installations and confirm accurate operation.Measure to print, verify tolerances, and document findings using dependable measurement techniques.Operate shop equipment: manual lathe, vertical mill, drill press, grinder; assemble special tools/fixtures.Safely run an overhead crane; support internal tooling projects.Back up production as a setup mechanic or machine operator/grinder when needed.Manage spare parts inventory, maintain records/reports, and order supplies and components.Proactively identify unsafe conditions and notify the Production Manager.Maintain a clean, safe workspace; adhere to company and departmental safety procedures.Meet targets, communicate professionally, and support team objectives; regular, predictable attendance required; other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree and/or 2–3 years equivalent experience.At least 5 years of hands-on mold maintenance and modification.Journeyman tool and die certificate.Deep knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment; understanding of PVC/CPVC material properties.Ability to read and interpret manuals and technical documentation; proficient in English; Spanish a plus.Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude; adept at learning and adapting.Negotiation skills with vendors; high math aptitude; excellent written and verbal communication.Organization and time management strengths; able to work independently or as part of a team.Experienced with drill press, lathe, and mills; able to apply new information to present and future decisions.Physical & Cognitive RequirementsStand and move continuously for up to 12 hours.Frequently push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.Frequent bending and overhead reach; frequent walking; occasional climbing.Good bilateral manual dexterity for removing, packing, and measuring parts.Above-average math skills for measuring, estimating, verification, and process calculations.Tools and TechnologiesManual LatheManual Vertical MillWhat You’ll ExperienceCompetitive pay, meaningful career growth, and a comprehensive benefits package: Paid Time Off, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (Self and Spouse/Children), Short- and Long-Term Disability, and other benefits.Our CommitmentTigre USA maintains a continuing policy of non-discrimination in all employment practices and decisions, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability,veteran status, or any other protected status. Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
