What you’ll tackle
- Set up, align, and secure molds on injection molding presses to exact specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems with molds and machines to restore optimal performance.
- Read and apply blueprints/technical drawings to validate every aspect of the setup.
- Collaborate with teammates to streamline changeovers and boost efficiency.
- Carry out routine maintenance on molds and molding equipment.
- Follow and reinforce safety standards during all setup tasks.
- Record setup steps and maintenance actions for quality and audit readiness.
Must-haves
- Proven background in injection molding and mold setup.
- Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience working with tools, dies, and mold installations.
- Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with injection molding machine operation.
