Bartender
Location: 201 N Main St Ste A, Blacksburg, VA 24060
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Bartender to join our team in downtown Blacksburg. The ideal candidate is friendly, responsible, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can provide great customer service while keeping the bar organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Check customer IDs and follow all Virginia alcohol service regulations.
- Take drink and food orders accurately.
- Handle cash and POS transactions.
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized.
- Restock liquor, beer, mixers, ice, glassware, and other supplies.
- Monitor alcohol inventory and notify management when items are running low.
- Work closely with Servers, Hosts, and other team members during busy hours.
- Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety procedures.
- Complete opening and closing duties for the bar.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending or bar experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor is preferred.
- Must meet all Virginia legal requirements for serving alcohol.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Friday and Saturday night availability is strongly preferred.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong restaurant experience and a willingness to learn.
