Duties
- Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, including pastries and cakes.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Package baked items attractively for display and sale.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and fulfilling special orders.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
