As a Clinical Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will be responsible for providing administrative support duties to include assisting with department process improvement, back-up to the manager, maintaining supplies, coordinating schedules and meetings, and participating in training/in-services for clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily operations of the clinic.
- Keep manager informed of any issues with patients, staff, or physicians that are beyond their comfort level or are questionable.
- Order departmental and medical supplies.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance/repair.
- Monitor quality control standards (immunization logs, waived testing, drug sample logs, equipment sterilization logs, etc.).
- Resolve less complicated patient, staff, and physician issues.
- Assist with evaluating associate performance and recommend merit increases (manager disciplines).
- Report to the manager any associate non-compliance with approved policies.
- Monitor associate work schedule and PTO requests – maintain appropriate staff coverage.
- Ensure NCHD referrals are appropriate.
- Assess departmental staffing needs; actively participate in resourcing efforts.
- FOLLOW CHRISTUS Health guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Use oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission.
- Maintain established CHRISTUS Health policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
- Implement job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics and supportive of CHRISTUS Health's cultural diversity objectives.

- Perform other related work as required.
Education/Skills
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- Previous healthcare management experience preferred.
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- BLS
