The Opportunity
We are looking to hire an Operations Coordinator to join our growing team in Redding, CA. This role is integral to supporting both our HR and accounting operations as well as overseeing day-to-day inventory management. You will work across several departments to ensure the smooth functioning of accounts payable (AP), and inventory tracking, helping to maintain a seamless operation across the board.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
- Audit invoices and manage accounts payable aging, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments, accounting, and external vendors.
- Enter AP/AR data into QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and proper record-keeping.
- Oversee debit card and manual check transactions, entering them into the Debit Card and Check Log, and organizing receipts and invoices.
Inventory Operations
- Assist in tracking and monitoring inventory levels.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Help manage the logistics for inventory receipts and orders.
Administrative Tasks
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, generating reports, preparing presentations, and setting up meetings.
- Anticipate the needs of the HR Department to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist with HR functions, such as scanning and filing documents, and supporting onboarding and termination processes.
- Assist with special projects and miscellaneous tasks as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Education: Associate's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Math, or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in AP, or administrative roles, ideally with exposure to accounting or inventory management.
- Skills:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Adept at learning new technologies, especially payroll and accounting platforms.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or payroll software preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Knowledge of or interest in the cannabis industry is a plus.
