Role Description
This is a contract-to-hire position for a Human Resources Specialist at Tierso, designed to transition from a short-term contract into a long-term, full-time role. The Human Resources Specialist will oversee core HR operations, ensuring compliance, supporting team growth, and helping build a strong, positive workplace culture as the company continues to expand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred)
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Assistant, ideally within a growing organization
- Strong understanding of Florida employment laws and regulations
- Experience managing or assisting with payroll and employee records
- Skilled in researching, selecting, and administering insurance and employee benefit programs
- Experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates is preferred
- Background in the Software or IT Development industry is a plus
