Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies.

- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing observations; provide feedback to students and parents.
- Support early childhood education principles and adapt teaching methods for children with diverse learning needs, including special education and working with children with autism.
- Mentor students individually or in small groups to improve literacy skills, writing skills, and math proficiency; provide tutoring as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and educational administration tasks.
- Incorporate library services into lessons to promote reading habits and research skills.
- Engage in continuous professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and other educational best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications or specialized training in early childhood education or special education preferred.
- Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged students in diverse settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital tools used in modern classrooms.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes proofreading, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing preparation.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with different learning styles or needs, including early intervention strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students individually or in groups; experience working with children with autism is a plus.
