Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), formerly Tidewater Primary Care Physicians, P.C., was formed in 1992 with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, Virginia. Today, TPMG has expanded its practices to include over 220 primary care, specialty physicians, and advanced practice clinicians who provide care to patients throughout the Hampton Roads and southeastern Virginia.

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our team.

The practice consists of two Physicians, two Physician Assistant and support from an experienced administrative and clinical team that perform clinical administrative tasks freeing you to focus on patients. The right candidate would be conscientious, empathetic, a good communicator and organized.

Position details:

• Full-time position: Monday-Thursday 7.45am–4.30pm and Friday 7.45am-4pm
• Established, busy, growing practice in Newport News, VA
• One to two nights a week shared on-call schedule
• Opportunity for growth
• Majority private insurance patient

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Current DEA license
• Current national board certification
• Current CPR certification.
