Community Relations Manager Position Summary
The Community Relations Manager translates departmental strategy into coordinated community relations, civic engagement, sponsorship, and volunteer initiatives across TidalHealth service areas. The role supervises Regional Community Relations Coordinators, aligns regional execution, strengthens community and volunteer relationships, and uses performance data to improve visibility, trust, engagement, and community impact.
Community Relations Manager Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, public administration, community development, nonprofit management, public health, human services, business administration, or a related field required.
Experience
- Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in community relations, communications, volunteer services, community engagement, nonprofit relations, healthcare, or a related field, including demonstrated relationship and program management experience.

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience managing volunteer recruitment, onboarding, engagement, recognition, and retention programs.

Experience working across multiple locations or geographic markets.

Familiarity with the Delmarva Peninsula and its civic, business, governmental, educational, nonprofit, and community organizations.

Relevant volunteer administration certification, such as CAVS, preferred.
