Duties
- Support bartenders by preparing and serving beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and bar safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar cleaning, food handling stations, and general venue tidiness
- Buss tables and assist with clearing glassware and dishes promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, stock replenishment, and equipment setup
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing with accuracy
- Assist with food preparation tasks in compliance with food industry standards and venue safety protocols
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during service to maintain hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in bars, restaurants, or nightclubs
- Familiarity with bar experience including bartending skills and beverage service techniques
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Experience with food industry safety standards, including food handling and bar safety compliance
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking
- Experience working in high-energy venues such as nightclubs or busy restaurants is highly desirable
