Position Summary:
The Pond Technician is responsible for full systems testing with a strong emphasis on electrical validation, engine programming, and leak testing. This is a technical quality role focused on catching functional issues early, partnering with production to eliminate root causes, and ensuring that every boat enters final inspection with solid, reliable systems.
What You’ll Do
- Validate all electrical components for full functionality: lighting, breakers, battery systems, electronics, generators, alternators, helm controls, and integrated technologies.
- Program engines and confirm proper communication with onboard systems.
- Perform leak tests and verify plumbing, steering, and hydraulic systems meet performance standards.
- Document defects, communicate findings clearly, and partner with assembly, engineering, and quality to drive permanent corrective actions.
