What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician/ Installer Level II position at TIAG?
TIAG is seeking a Field Technician/Installer at a Level II experience. The Technician should be able to demonstrate experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems.
This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% CONUS; opportunity for OCONUS travel
Clearance: This position will require a government clearance to be processed, so US Citizenship is a requirement.
This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week.
A Level I Technician is responsible for performing basic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks under direct supervision. This role is focused on learning foundational technical skills and adhering to standard operating procedures.
A Level II Technician handles more complex service requests, performs independent diagnoses, and is expected to provide support to Level I staff. This role requires a solid foundation of technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

- Education: Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience as a Level I Technician or equivalent, with 2 core areas of expertise in (Lenel, AMAG,Bosch,Milestone,DMP etc)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance, US or Naturalized Citizenship is required.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various hardware and software issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of network configurations and protocols.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Salary : $64,000 - $71,000
