What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician/Installer position at TIAG?
TIAG is seeking a Field Technician/ Installer at a Level I experience. The Technician should be able to demonstrate experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems.
This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% CONUS; opportunity for OCONUS travel
Clearance: This position will require a government clearance to be processed, so US Citizenship is a requirement.
This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week.
A Level I Technician is responsible for performing basic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks under direct supervision. This role is focused on learning foundational technical skills and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical or related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance; US or Naturalized Citizenship is required
- Basic knowledge of low voltage system components and wiring.
- Familiarity with standard hand tools and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
