Estimator Project Manager

TI Builders is a national commercial construction firm with nearly 40 years of success built on doing things the right way. We’re growing and looking for an Estimator / Project Manager with at least 5 years of commercial construction experience to join our team in Florida.

This role is not entry-level and not residential or multi-family. We’re looking for someone who knows commercial tenant improvements, works well independently, and takes full ownership of their projects from start to finish. We are looking for an Estimator Project Manager who:

• Thrives with managing simultaneous multiple projects in a fast-moving market
• Is confident in their skills but unafraid to ask questions when necessary

Day-to-day duties typically include but are not limited to:

• Assisting PMs and estimators with project documentation, take-offs and materials quotes
• Calling subcontractors to check if they're bidding or have any questions
• Holding site/job walks
• Addressing and sourcing any necessary temporary facilities (e.g. storage containers, dumpsters, mobile restrooms, equipment)
• Transcription and distribution of budgets, RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and change orders
• Assembling project close-out documents

Position requirements:

• 5 years’ experience as a commercial - not multi-family or residential - estimator
• An innate understanding of the tenant improvement process and commercial construction project management
• Strong writing ability and excellent verbal skills (we value honest, open communication)
• The ability to perform well and grow under limited supervision
• Proficiency with MS office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
