- Oversee all daily operations on active job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage subcontractors, coordinate schedules, and uphold high-quality standards throughout every phase of construction.
- Maintain rigorous safety standards and ensure compliance with all local regulations.
- Act as the on-site leader, providing solutions, guidance, and updates to clients, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Review and distribute updated plans, blueprints, and RFIs, ensuring clear communication across all teams.
- Develop strong relationships with local subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to streamline project execution.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a commercial construction superintendent, with a proven track record in tenant improvements, build-outs, or similar projects.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Massachusetts subcontractors, inspectors, and permitting processes, especially in the Boston-to-New Bedford area.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and Dropbox, with the ability to interpret Gantt charts and manage construction schedules.
- Work Ethic: A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
- Reliable Transportation: A truck is preferred for site visits and equipment transport.
