New Product Engineering Summer Internship
We are seeking a New Product Engineering Summer Intern to support the design, development, and application of nozzles and other fluid management system components for customer programs. This onsite summer internship is open to local undergraduate engineering students interested in hands‑on product development within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute projects that improve team capability and support business growth
- Participate in new product brainstorms and design reviews
- Create and update part and assembly models and drawings using Creo and CATIA
- Design, fabricate, and execute custom test fixtures
- Develop and execute test plans and document results to validate design decisions
- Support quality and manufacturing teams through analysis of design and manufacturing issues, including root cause analysis
- Provide technical support for product and manufacturing challenges
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate progress, risks, and concerns to leadership and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate product development documentation, including support of APQP activities
- Demonstrate strong teamwork by sharing knowledge and learnings with the group
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering
- Local candidates only (onsite participation required; no relocation or housing assistance provided)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and interest in product design and development
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
What You’ll Gain:
