Responsibilities
- Support and maintain production equipment
- Train maintenance and production personnel on equipment operations.
- Consult with plant quality and engineering staff on quality issues and potential
- Lead and direct contractors and maintenance personnel in the installation,
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support design reviews of controls, safety systems and automation
- Comply with applicable IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements by
objectives, completing required training, reporting risks or nonconformities, and
participating in continual improvement activities.
Skill/Education/Experience Requirements
- AS/BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent job experience (required). This is not
- Ability to program PLCs, HMI and data collection systems for automated equipment;
- Ability to design, maintain and troubleshoot automated control systems and
vision (Cognex, Keyence, Banner), etc.
- Ability to program robots, primarily Fanuc, Fanuc Collaborative robots and
- Ability to read, develop, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, specifications,
- Written and verbal communication skills for the training plant production and
equipment.
