Punch Press Operator (Turret) - 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment according to work orders and specifications.
• Inspect and verify materials before processing.
• Perform quality checks and record measurements using measuring tools.
• Maintain production, inspection, and productivity records.
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Identify and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train team members when required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience using handheld measuring tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong safety mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Turret punch press experience.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience, preferably in the metals industry.
• Basic computer skills.

This position works on the production floor around heavy machinery and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
