Machinist CNC - 3rd Shift

Essential Duties:

Perform operations of machining centers. Organize cell workflow and properly plan necessary machining sequence(s). Meet inspection requirements in compliance to customer drawings, referenced specifications.

Individual Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Maintains a safe, clean working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace
• Assure that products meet customer expectations.
• Assure that all manufacturing and quality related tools/materials are in calibration and of the latest revision
• Plan machining by having a fluent understanding of assets and related equipment.
• Review all specifications and prints/drawings and programs and understand all GD&T requirements for any given process.
• Machine set-up along with program downloading and editing fluency. G & M codes, asset control knowledge 'Fanuc or Siemens' interface
• Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling

Team Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Calibrate and ensure proper use and care of inspection and test equipment
• Maintain work area in compliance with good housekeeping practices
• Provide feedback for C.I. and any issues necessary for compliance
• Make and populate Daily T.P.M. / 6s operator interface checks
• Collect quality target data for reporting by CNC Machining Cell
• Participate in company promoted events such as 6s, TPM and other operational C.I. programs
