What You’ll Do
- Ensure product and process quality across all branches
- Lead investigations for internal/external quality issues using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D
- Collaborate with Operations on new equipment installations and inspection processes
- Drive Continuous Improvement projects to reduce defects and improve metrics
- Conduct FMEA, SPC, and process validations
- Support audits and supplier quality initiatives
- Train production teams on quality tools and systems
- Manage non-conforming inventory and ensure timely resolution
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 3 years in quality engineering (metals industry experience a plus)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM, IATF 16949 standards
- Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills
- AS9100 auditor certification or ability to obtain
- Six Sigma Green Belt (a plus)
- Hands-on experience with ERP/QMS systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication and ability to read technical drawings
