Job description
Thurston Mechanical is a local, family-owned, Industrial Plumbing company. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with some mandatory overtime as well as weekends.
We are looking for an experienced pipe fitter, willing and able to complete tasks as assigned and complete work on schedule.
Experience/Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have pipe threading experience
- Experience with installation of pipe, fittings, valves etc
- TIG pipe welding is a plus
- Experience reading P&IDs and isometric drawings
- Must be able to take direction well
- Must meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to safely work on ladders and at heights
- Ability to work standing or walking for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to work safely and maintain quality in a fast-paced industrial environment
