Overview
Thurston Mechanical is a local, family-owned, Industrial Plumbing company. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm with some mandatory overtime as well as weekends, often without advanced notification. Individuals must have OSHA 10 and their own transportation to work and job sites.
Seeking a hard-working person with hands-on experience in concrete masonry/form work.
Because Thurston Mechanical is a small company, employees are required to complete tasks as assigned outside of the scope of their hired position as needed.
Experience/Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Experience in general construction or industrial environments is preferred
- Experience with concrete demolition, footers, foundations, curbs, sidewalks, stairs and block work
- Must meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency
- Flexible to work overtime
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- Ability to follow directions and perform tasks as assigned
- Must have OSHA 10- hour Certification
- Preferred to have OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour Certification
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs
- Ability to work standing or walking for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to work safely and maintain quality in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Ability/willingness to work in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be willing to travel and stay out of town (up to 25%)
Pay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour
