C Trading Systems Engineer
Company Insight:
The company is a global investment manager with offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia. They are looking to hire a high caliber individual to help redesign and build a core trading platform which allows the firm to provide market-leading order management and execution tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement performance-critical components of the trading platform using modern C
- Improve existing systems through thoughtful design, optimization, and refactoring
- Contribute to the overall architecture to ensure scalability, resilience, and efficiency
- Collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience developing low-latency, multi-threaded systems in C
- Strong understanding of network programming and system-level performance tuning
- Proven track record of working on complex, distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $300,000 per year, based on job-related skills and experience. This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
