This team partners directly with investors to generate differentiated insights by applying rigorous analytics to large, complex, and often unstructured datasets.
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys turning raw data into clear, decision-ready insight — and who wants their work to directly influence how capital is allocated. You’ll operate as a thought partner to investment teams, bringing structure, speed, and analytical rigour to how data informs research and portfolio construction
The Role:
- Partner with investment teams to understand their research approach and identify how data can strengthen decision-making
- Analyse data from multiple structured and unstructured sources to test complex investment theses
- Rapidly assess data relevance, detect emerging trends, and separate signal from noise
- Identify the key operational and fundamental drivers across companies and sectors
- Deliver high-quality research outputs in a clear, concise format tailored for senior investors
- Help build and evolve scalable datasets, analytical frameworks, and decision-support tools
Experience/Skills Required:
- Strong intellectual curiosity with a genuine interest in markets and investing
- Ability to quickly digest fundamental research and translate narratives into data-driven analysis
- Advanced Python skills (including Pandas) and strong SQL
- Solid background in statistical modelling and quantitative analysis
- Experience working with large, complex, or unstructured datasets
- Prior exposure to investment management, equity research, or buy-side analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, engineering, economics, computer science, physics, or a related discipline
