Maintenance / Skilled Handyman
Pay: $17.00–$22.00 per hour
Thur’s Smoke Shop is looking for an experienced, dependable Maintenance / Skilled Handyman to handle construction, repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects at our properties.
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already knows how to work with their hands, use tools properly, and complete projects without needing to be taught the basics.
REQUIRED SKILLS
You must have real, hands-on experience with:
- Wood framing
- Carpentry and woodworking
- Concrete work
- Fence installation and repair
- General construction and building repairs
- Power tools and construction equipment
- Measuring, cutting, leveling, fastening, and project layout
- General handyman and property maintenance work
Experience with drywall, doors, trim, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, metal work, landscaping, equipment repair, or other trades is a plus.
SKILLS WILL BE TESTED
Applicants will be required to demonstrate their abilities through a practical skills test.
If you don't have actual experience with framing, woodwork/carpentry, concrete, and fence work, please do not apply.
We're looking for someone who can be shown what needs to be done, figure out the best way to tackle it, and get the job done correctly.
You need to be dependable, work hard, take direction, solve problems, and take pride in the quality of your work.
Pay ranges from $17.00–$22.00/hour based on experience and demonstrated skill level.
