Solution Architect – Cleared (Salesforce Government Cloud)
Location: Hybrid (US-based, strong preference for DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.

The Solution Architect (SA) provides technical leadership and solution design expertise for Salesforce projects in Federal environments that require cleared resources and Government Cloud compliance. This role ensures solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with mission and contractual requirements.

Core Pillars
- Solution Leadership – Lead architecture and design of Salesforce Gov Cloud solutions for cleared programs.
- Security & Compliance – Ensure solutions adhere to FedRAMP, ATO, and Federal cybersecurity standards.
- Collaboration – Partner with PMs, Developers, and BAs to align solution design with requirements.
- Innovation – Provide strategic guidance on maximizing Salesforce Gov Cloud capabilities in Federal programs.
- Design end-to-end Salesforce Government Cloud solutions aligned to Federal mission requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with FedRAMP, ATO, and cleared environment requirements.
- Collaborate with BAs and PMs to validate requirements and translate them into scalable architectures.
- Guide developers and technical teams on secure solution implementation.
- Support pre-sales solutioning and technical writing for Federal proposals, as needed.
- Stay current on Salesforce Government Cloud capabilities and Federal security guidelines.
- 7 years Salesforce solution design/architecture experience, with 3 years in Federal programs.
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification required (CTA preferred).
- Experience designing solutions in Salesforce Gov Cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Federal security standards (FedRAMP, ATO, FISMA).
- Proven ability to lead solution workshops with Federal stakeholders.
- US Citizenship; Active Security Clearance required (Secret or higher).
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Travel required as necessary
