Job Summary

The Salesforce OmniStudio Developer designs, develops, and deploys scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital experiences leveraging the OmniStudio platform (including FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures) within Federal government environments. This role focuses on implementing compliant, guided user journeys and dynamic front-end applications that align with mission requirements. As a Federal OmniStudio Developer, you will be instrumental in delivering guided, efficient, and compliant Federal services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure dynamic, guided user experiences and complex business processes using the full OmniStudio suite (formerly Vlocity), including broader Salesforce ecosystem products, such as Salesforce Government Cloud.
  • Design and implement secure data manipulation layers using DataRaptors (Extract, Load, Turbo) and Integration Procedures to manage data flow between Salesforce and mandated external Federal systems.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum or SAFe environment to translate complex business requirements and process maps into robust technical designs using the OmniStudio suite (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and backend developers to ensure seamless and secure integration with Federal systems and APIs using protocols like REST/SOAP, OAuth, SAML, and PKI.
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of OmniStudio components and ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing strategies for OmniStudio components (including OmniStudio Test Utilities) and other platform elements like Apex unit tests and Jest for LWCs.
  • Implement data mappings and transformations that adhere to common Federal data and integration standards, such as NIEM, HL7, XML/JSON schemas, and X12.
  • Contribute to code quality, documentation, and secure DevSecOps practices within the Federal delivery model, focusing on secure deployment pipelines and adhering to Federal security mandates.
  • Ensure developed OmniStudio solutions adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards, optimizing OmniScripts and FlexCards for performance and scalability in high-volume Federal use cases.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of professional Salesforce development/configuration experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to developing solutions using OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity Digital Interaction Suite).
  • 2 years of experience working on Federal or Public Sector integration programs and projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Government Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Deep practical knowledge of OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated environment.

    • Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (required).
  • Willingness to attain a U.S. Security Clearance (e.g., Public Trust, Secret) as required by specific projects. Current clearance is not required to apply.
