Integration Developer - Salesforce Federal Delivery (Cleared - Secret)

Location: Remote (US-based, DC Metro Area preferred). Possible in-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.

Employment Type: This is a contingent role based upon a successful bid award.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a visionary Integration Developer to join our Federal consulting practice. In this role, you won’t just be connecting systems; you will be building the "Government of the Future." You will be the primary architect for the connective tissue of the enterprise, connecting Salesforce with external systems via custom APIs or MuleSoft. Your goal is to create a seamless flow of data between Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, while leveraging Agentforce (AI) to create hyper-efficient constituent services.This role is ideal for a developer who excels at solving complex architectural puzzles and thrives in a high-compliance, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement secure, high-performance connections between Salesforce and external government databases, ERPs, and legacy systems via REST/SOAP APIs or the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Design and implement custom integration logic within Public Sector Solutions (PSS) to streamline government-specific workflows such as licensing, inspections, and case management.
• Implement and optimize Agentforce (AI Agents) to automate citizen interactions, ensuring AI-driven responses are grounded in secure, integrated data.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines between Service Cloud (backend operations), Experience Cloud (constituent portals), and Marketing Cloud (automated public notifications).
• Develop high-performance Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to handle complex data transformations and custom API integrations.
• Perform deep, diagnostic analysis of legacy government information systems to identify architectural flaws and map out modern API-led migration paths.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to data privacy (PII) and government security protocols (FedRAMP standards) for all data in transit.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of Salesforce integration development experience, connecting Salesforce with external systems via APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) or MuleSoft (Mule 4).
• 3 years of heavy Apex and LWC development. You must be comfortable writing complex, performant code for large-scale environments.
• Proven experience configuring and integrating Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.
• Familiarity with the Salesforce PSS data model and the unique compliance needs of government entities.
• Hands-on experience or deep conceptual understanding of Agentforce, Einstein, and how to integrate LLMs into Salesforce workflows.
• Practical expertise in Agile methodology, including managing scrum calls and prioritizing backlogs for complex programs.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred: MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or 2), Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII), and/or Salesforce Certified AI Specialist.
