Our Bake Off crew works while Bend sleeps—pulling golden perfection from the oven just as the rest of the world is waking up. We pay at the top end for Bend ($20–$25/hr), feed you a free shift meal, and surround you with a team that cares about craft and community.
The Role
Full-time: Mix of Bake Off and Bake off Assistant Positions, 4-5 days/week with weekend availability. Shifts run from 12am–8am (Bake Off) and 3am-11 am(Bake off Assistant) at our York Café, Bakery, & Roastery.
What You’ll Do
- Mix, shape, proof, and bake a variety of baked goods
- Keep our bake space spotless - maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the baking area
- Work with a disciplined, fun-loving crew that rallies behind daily goals
- Contribute to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the quantity and quality of baked goods
What You Bring
- 1 year of professional baking experience (or the passion to learn)
- Love of early mornings (or very late nights)
- Belief that a great pastry can make someone’s day
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- A love of learning and ability to take feedback
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, physical environment*
Perks & Pay
- $20/hr starting, up to $25/hr for Bake Off shifts, $20/ hr starting, up to $22/ hr for Bake Off Assistant shifts

*Physical Realities of the Job
This is active, on-your-feet work. Expect to:
- Lift and carry heavy mixing bowls, baking trays, and ingredients
- Operate large ovens, mixers, and other commercial baking gear
- Push/pull baking racks and carts
- Stand/walk for most of your shift
- Bend, reach, and stoop to grab ingredients and tools
- Roll, stir, fold, and shape doughs and batters
- Tackle dish duty—because clean tools make great food
